Private Fees

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Photocopies/printouts of notes etc.
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

Please note that all fees for private services must be paid for in advance - please read our Private Services Policy to find out more. Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card. Cheques should be made payable to Woodcote Medical.

Please allow 21 working days from the date of request for your form/certificate to be processed.

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales. A list of our Non-NHS fees can be downloaded here or requested from Reception.
