When We Are Closed
If the surgery is closed and you need a doctor urgently there is always a doctor available 24 hours a day. You should call 020 8763 5620 where a recorded message will tell you how to get medical assistance.
From 08:00 to 18:00 weekdays, it will generally be one of the doctors from our practice who sees you, but from 18:30 weekdays and during weekends and bank holidays you will need to contact NHS 111. If you are anywhere within the London Borough of Croydon then you should simply dial 111 and follow the instructions.
Calls are FREE from both landlines and mobiles. When phoning be sure to have a pen and paper handy plus some coins or a phone card if you are in a call box.
NHS 111
If you require urgent medical attention or advice outside of surgery hours please call NHS111.
Calls are free from both landlines and mobile phones.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
