NEW - Account-free login to Anima from Monday 16th June

We've listened to patients' feedback and have collaborated with Anima to enable account-less login.

What does this mean?

From Monday 16th June, rather than logging into your account, you will be able to follow a link on our website to submit your request; making it simpler to submit requests for both yourself and your dependents. Please watch this video for more information: Account-less access for Patients. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can still use your existing account to submit your request.

To enable this new feature, we will need to close Anima to any new admin requests from 4pm on Friday 13th June until 8am on Monday 16th June. We apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause.

How will I receive notifications?

You will be notified of the surgery's response by NHS app alert, SMS, email or telephone call. If you have not downloaded the NHS app yet, please do so and enable notifications as this wil be the quickest and most efficient way of receiving responses from the surgery. The NHS app also allows you to request repeat prescriptions and see your test results. Please see here or ask a member of the reception team for more information.

Clear on Cancer - Breast Screening

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women in the UK.

Anyone registered with a GP as female aged from 50 up to their 71st birthday will be invited for NHS breast screening every three years.

Regular breast screening is one of the best ways to spot a cancer that is too small to feel or see yourself – it saves around 1,300 lives each year in the UK.

So when you're invited, save the date, it could save your life.
