Patient Participation Group - Make a Difference at Your Practice
The Woodcote Medical Practice has an active Patient Participation Group (PPG), open to all registered patients. By joining, you'll meet with practice staff 2-3 times a year to share your feedback on how the practice operates. This is your chance to highlight what's working well and suggest improvements that will benefit all patients.
If you care about your health and the health of your family, the PPG is a valuable way to get involved and help shape how your treatment and care are delivered.
We are actively seeking new members to bring fresh perspectives to the group. Please consider lending your voice - it's a rewarding and important way to conbribute.
What does the PPG do?
Currently the PPG is actively involved in providing feedback on Anima, a crucial system for our practice. Thanks to patient input, we've already seen improvements like account-less logins and the integration of NHS Notify. We will also be seeing the following improvements coming this year:
- NHS App integration - Anima will be integrated into the NHS App meaning patients can use Anima directly from the NHS App to request appointments
- New questionnaire sets - the questions that patients are asked are being refined and improved
- New user interface - a new user-friendly interface will be rolled out later in the year.
The introduction of Anima has also had a significant positive impact on doctor's time. In the last year, over 50% of medical appointment requests were successfully resolved without requiring a doctor's appointment, freeing up their time for patients with more complex needs. Be part of this positive change - consider joining the PPG today!
How do I join?
Email us at patientgroupwm@gmail.com and the PPG will be in touch.
Please note: this email address is for communication with the PPG only. No medical information should be shared as it will not be received by the practice.
