Blood Tests

We offer a blood test service at the practice every morning, Monday to Friday. Please note that you must be referred by the GP or nurse to have a blood test. Appointments for blood tests can be booked online.

Cervical Smears

These are performed by our practice nurses by appointment. If you are a woman aged between 20 and 64, we advise you to have regular cervical smears - three yearly between ages 25 and 50 and five yearly between 51 and 64.

Please make an appointment with a practice nurse for a smear in the middle part of your menstrual cycle - ideally days 10 to 14.

Childhood Immunisations

We offer baby and childhood immunisations.

You can book your child's immunisations at Reception with any of our Practice Nurses or contact us online

It's important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection, but if you or your child misses a vaccine, please contact us to arrange a catch-up appointment.

  • Stroke

Minor Surgery

We provide a full range of minor surgical procedures. These include removal of lumps and bumps, the treatment of skin problems and joint injections.

Mother and Baby Checks

These are carried out in a GP appointment when your baby is 8 weeks old and is immediately followed by a Nurse appointment for your baby’s first immunisations.

Please note you must register your baby prior to his/her 8 weeks check.

Physiotherapy

Our experienced First Contact Physiotherapists have the advanced skills necessary to assess, diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment for problems that affect your neck, back, joints or muscles. They act as your first point of contact and offer advice and referrals for further treatment and scans.

Social Prescribing

Our Social Prescriber can connect you with a range of non-clinical programmes, services and events in our local community - like walking groups, mental health counselling, debt management advice, employability skills, volunteering and family fitness.

Travel Immunisations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
